Kate is an experienced family lawyer having been in practice  for over 19 years. With an early background in civil litigation Kate was drawn to family law because of the “human” element and the opportunity to assist people navigate a difficult period in their lives. Kate’s experience in family law covers all facets of practice for married and de facto couples, including property settlement (from simple to complex), parenting matters, divorce, child support and spousal maintenance. 

Kate is an experienced advocate in Court matters and arbitration where required but believes strongly in pursuing alternative dispute resolution processes and has assisted clients in mediation, settlement conferences and the collaborative process. 

Kate is a member of:

• Law society of NSW
• Family Law Section

Her qualifications are:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
• Admitted as a lawyer to the supreme court of NSW
• Admitted as a lawyer to the high court of Australia
• Accredited Specialist in Family Law
