Tash has a diverse background, having gained experience in many areas of law including family law, conveyancing, commercial law, wills & estate planning, probate, commercial litigation and criminal law.

Nolan Lawyers offers a range of services that complement each other.  Tash’s diverse background means that she can assist her clients with many of their legal needs.

Tash has a Masters in Applied Law (Family Law).   Tash chose to specialise in family law because she wanted to be able to help people through what is one of the most difficult times in their lives.  Tash is experienced in modest property settlements to more complex property matters involving multiple assets, family companies, trust structures, and superannuation interests.

Tash’s commercial background compliments her family law practice.  Her commercial experience allows her to quickly identify the issues at hand and provide the most practical and cost effective solutions for her clients.  Tash strongly believes that all aspects of alternative dispute resolution should be explored to try to resolve the dispute in an efficient manner before resorting to litigation.

Tash is a member of Collaborative Professionals (NSW) Inc.  Tash is passionate about assisting her clients through their family law matter using the collaborative approach and engaging other professionals including accountants, financial planners and child psychologists, where necessary.

Tash is currently completing a Masters in Applied Law (Wills & Estates).  This area of law is becoming more complex, particularly in blended family situations.  Tash provides practical and pragmatic advice to her clients about their estate planning needs.

CHAD ZARIF

Director

Chad was instrumental in the inception of Nolan Lawyers in April 2016 and has worked behind the scenes until he joined the firm full time in March 2018.

Chad now leads the day to day operation of the firm whilst continuing to set and implement our strategic direction and drive future growth.

Chad has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and is presently studying Law at University of Western Sydney.

Hayley Hewitt

Senior Associate

Since her admission as a lawyer in 2012, Hayley has acted for a diverse client base including individuals, property developers, small to medium sized businesses, and large companies in a range of industries.

Hayley has experience in a broad range of matters, including sale and purchase of residential and commercial property, sale and purchase of small businesses, commercial leasing, building and construction disputes, and drafting various commercial agreements.

Hayley takes a practical approach to her work and is committed to developing and maintaining strong relationships with her clients to achieve their legal needs. She believes that integrity, rapport building, communication and negotiation are key to ensuring successful outcomes for her clients. Her clients benefit from this approach and her ability to advise her clients in plain English.

Jessica McKinley

Lawyer

Jess was admitted to practice as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia in 2016 and has a background practicing in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law, Wills and Estates.

Since her admission in 2016, Jess has gained experience in preparing estate planning documents, including Wills, Testamentary Trusts, Special Disability Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Enduring Guardian.  She has also had experience in dealing with complex estate planning needs including those of blended families and vulnerable beneficiaries.

Jess can assist clients with their duties as an Executor and Trustee in administering deceased estates.  She has experience in preparing applications for grants of probate and letters of administration and can also assist in the conduct of estate litigation.

As a family lawyer, Jess takes a practical and sensible approach with her clients in resolving their disputes by avoiding litigation where possible.  Jess can assist clients with their property settlement and the division of assets, as well as parenting arrangements and the preparation of binding financial agreements and binding child support agreements.
